Job Description

Skilled Careers is looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant who can independently run their own portfolio with the construction market. Main duties include but not limited to:- Business Development & Client Management -Promote Sales, develop business plans, contribute in branding & marketing, and maintain networking to attract business. -Visit clients to build and develop positive relationships. -Develop a good understanding of client companies, their industry, job requirement and their work culture and environment. Candidate Generation -Advertise vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as newspapers, websites and magazines -Use social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships -Headhunt – identify and approach suitable candidates who may already be in work -Use candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy -Reviewing applications/ CVs and screen- which involves arrange interviews and tests and create a shortlist of candidates for the client -Obtain references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client -Negotiate pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates -Offer advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression -Working towards to meet or exceed targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated -Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes. Experience -2 years+ experience in construction recruitment industry within one of the following sectors:- m&e design, highways & transportation or structural & civil engineering Skills -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Sales and negotiation skills -A goal-orientated approach to work -Ability to handle multiple priorities -Problem-solving ability -Ability to meet deadlines and targets -Ambition and the determination to succeed -Confidence and self-motivation -Time management and organisational skills -Team-working skills If you meet the above, then apply to (Email Removed)(url removed)
