Senior Recruitment Consultant / Team Leader Civil Engineering & Construction £30,000 - £45,000 with OTE £70,000 to £100,000 Birmingham About the company: Cityscape Recruitment specialise in recruitment of construction professionals within the building, civil engineering and rail industries. Senior staff at Cityscape Recruitment are degree qualified in construction, have extensive experience of working within the construction industry and several years’ experience of applying this knowledge to the recruitment industry. Each of our consultants focuses on recruitment within a specific industry sector. About the opportunity: This is a new and very much exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant or an established Team Leader that is looking for that next step forward in their career. We are looking for someone who can initially work on their own (or with one other), delivering on active roles with strong clients we have in this region and throughout the UK. We have office space secured in the city centre and you’ll be introduced to clients personally by one of Cityscape’s founding directors and while you will be based in the Midlands, you will have the full support of our South East, Rickmansworth office from day one, with the directors on hand to help in any way needed and the flexibility to work from that office during the early stages if desired. To be clear, this is by no means a cold or even warm desk for us. It is fully active with clients asking for people in this region (and the surrounding) to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis. We just need the right person / people on the ground to help us take this area to the next level. Furthermore, this opportunity offers the ability to grow not only your own team, but a whole office with the only requirement being that individuals are up and running before new people are brought on board. The world could literally be your oyster to build a 10 – 20-person office in your first few years. If the right level of drive, capability and results can be shown, the rewards will be equal to the effort put in! About the benefits and rewards: Remuneration will be extremely generous. We base salaries on the experience and abilities of each professional but offer beyond the typical level in industry. You can expect a basic salary from £30,000 to £45,000 and on target earnings of a minimum £70,000 to £100,000 in the first year. In addition to basic salary and commission with no threshold, we offer generous quarterly bonuses, quarterly target-based events, regular team social events, on-going perks and for this opportunity, there will be share options that can be discussed on a one on one basis. About the requirements: Successful applicants will have prior experience of civil engineering or construction recruitment and will be capable of business generation and client delivery leading to fees. Due to the level of this opportunity, it would also be beneficial if you have managed / led a team before and are familiar with what is required to support other recruiters during their day to day activities. We are also keen to consider individuals who are qualified in construction or civil engineering or have previously worked in the RC frame & groundwork sector specifically. The market knowledge and understanding gained from this background offers a unique starting point for a potentially excellent career in construction recruitment.
