Role: Senior Recruitment Consultant (Specialist Division) About the Company: We are a modern and forward thinking independent recruitment agency based in Rotherham who help employers and candidates across the Sheffield city region find their perfect match in each of our specialist areas – office support, sales, creative/digital, IT and warehouse/driving. We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to build a specialist division (outside of our usual areas), to grow and develop our existing clients within your chosen specialist area and attract new ones. You will be confident managing the recruitment cycle from candidate attraction to vacancy fulfilment and new business development. You will be a consistent billing member of the team. This role is an opportunity to set up a specialist division within Glu Recruit which you can grow and interlink with our current recruitment offering. You will naturally think outside of the box to attract candidates from other sourcing methods outside of the database and LinkedIn. You will be an expert using agency recruitment tools – CRM systems, LinkedIn for head hunting activities and be a skilled networker who can build strong connections throughout your specialist market. Duties within the role will include: *Use a variety of business development techniques to develop a database of new clients within your specialist area and identify new business opportunities whilst managing any existing accounts effectively *Build an understanding of your clients, their industry, what they do, their workplace culture and environment and what they look for in a recruitment partner on a long term basis, rather than transactional *Offer and advise the client on our suite of recruitment solutions, honestly, consultatively, and collaboratively selecting the best method for them. Negotiating and agreeing terms. *Take detailed job requirements from clients face to face, on video call and over the telephone *Advertise vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media to attract appropriate candidates *Manage the full end to end recruitment cycle from initial hiring manager briefing through to offer management including regular updates throughout *To proactively search, identify and interview suitable candidates for your vacancies through intelligent resourcing *Develop a talent pipeline of candidates within your specialist area that you proactively work on and market to both new and existing clients, ensuring that you have up to date market knowledge *Take candidates though a comprehensive interview preparation. Ensure they are comfortable at each stage and they have a full understanding of the clients culture and the process upfront *Obtain interview feedback from both sides and ensured that this is followed up. Deliver feedback with honesty and with the aim of improving both client and candidates experience. *Routinely account manage your clients to ensure that the placements you have made are adding value and to explore other opportunities within the business *Provide advice to both clients and candidates on the current recruitment marketplace, understanding their pain points and how we can support them *Structure your working day and week to include account management, business development, marketing, and candidate activity to ensure that your KPI’s are achieved/exceeded The successful candidate: As a specialist recruiter, you will have a real passion for delivering the best client experience through an unrivalled quality of service and delivery. You will be natural and confident in forming relationships with prospective clients and focused on creating long term partnerships with businesses where we can add value. We are looking for someone with ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in the recruitment industry, specifically in a specialist market. We are open to all specialisms at this stage and will consider each applicant on their own merit. You will have experience of building and developing a specialist market within a recruitment agency with proven results. You will have a real passion for delivering the best candidate and client experience through unrivalled quality of service. You will be natural and confident in forming relationships internally and with our candidates and clients, creating long term partnerships. We are looking for a self-starter with a motivation for success. You will be confident in business to business sales through a variety of techniques and be comfortable working to KPI’s.
