Reporting to: Head of Recruitment Location: Reading ROLE PURPOSE This is a sales focussed role; business development, candidate attraction and relationship management are all core elements to the job. You will be expected to identify and target new sales opportunities specifically within the Utilities sector. You will play a major role in helping establish Huntswood as a key supplier of recruitment services within the Utilities Sector. You will be required to balance selling and resourcing, more often than not acting as the single point of contact for candidates and clients. As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and maintaining a pool of candidates that could be utilised by the Huntswood Group, and maybe called upon to support internal and external recruitment for other divisions. As you make progress and contribute to establishing Huntswood within the Utilities space, there lies the potential to be involved in the hiring and line management of additional resource. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Acquire new clients through business development * Build strong relationships with clients through understanding their business, culture and requirements * Manage the recruitment process - candidate selection through to offer negotiation * Co-ordinating and managing RFPs * Present to prospective clients as part of the tender process * Ensure that all client interactions and opportunities are documented onto the sales ESSENTIAL SKILLS * Experience of recruiting within one or more of the following industries; energy, water or telecommunications * Previous experience working as 360 consultant * Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets * Sales focussed and prepared to make cold calls to generate new business * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Experience of using a wide range of methods to source active and passive candidates * Professional, methodical and demonstrate a willingness and desire to succeed DESIRABLE SKILLS * Graduate Calibre * Experience of managing or mentoring others * Experience of using Itris system CORE BEHAVIOURS To work with Huntswood’s employees are described as dependable, driven and collaborative.
