We’re only 3 years old and like most 3 year olds, we’re going through a growth spurt and as a result we’re looking for another Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Ascension family and help us hit new heights of success! The Role: A Senior Recruiter is the heartbeat of our business and you will be working within a buzzing team of recruitment gurus who have heaps of experience in the recruitment industry all at different levels. The role itself includes all the usual duties of a Senior Recruitment Consultant; from supporting and developing relationships with existing clients as well as creating new sales opportunities. You’ll be a true hunter for business, have the ability to lead generate and have a real eye for new business. We have a fairly high amount business for you to walk into and look after (which is lovely!) but as every great recruiter knows, you can’t rely on leads and existing business alone so it will be your job to go and woo new clients, send them text messages, emails, donuts, smoke signals and even go old school and meet them to tell them all about the amazing recruitment solutions we provide! Because your clients may be based in Essex, London or further afield, it would be lovely if can drive and have your own car but if you have a proven track record of your recruitment brilliance, we’re not fussed whether you arrive at work on a 2 or 3-wheel vehicle (but no push bikes unless you live within easy cycling distance to Moulsham Street!). You’ll also be a pretty nifty resourcer and have the ability to hunt for people with niche skillsets, commercial skillsets and be creative in your talent sourcing. Experience of using social media to source candidates with will put you ahead of the pack and you’ll get extra brownie points if you know how to win exclusive business. The Fit: You will be someone with at least 2 years Recruitment experience that you have picked up in an agency or even in a Business Development role within a recruitment setting, it`s a non-negotiable. If you have Resourcing experience, that could be no harm either. Realistically, we need you to have a few years’ experience of working in a targeted recruitment environment under your belt, otherwise we would not be setting you up to succeed. If you have done a stint in an internal recruitment role or have knowledge of RPO settings, all the better, you’ll know the pain points and the jargon of your clients!
