We are currently entering into an exciting new phase of our development and are looking for like minded individuals to join our team on the next chapter of their incredible journey. We have recently been awarded funding from the European Union to continue the outstanding work they have been doing in the community working with disadvantaged adults, ex-offenders, CRCs, The Probation Service and Job Centres in providing support, mentoring and guidance to help people on their journey back into sustainable employment. To help us achieve this we are recruiting for a Social Recruitment Partner specialising in the construction industry to help us to achieve this next stage in our journey and offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of these amazing times. The role: * To work with our client base of ex offenders and find and assist them in obtaining roles within the construction industry. * Developing recruitment leads within the construction sector * Managing client relationships and helping our Social Employability Advisers with placing their candidates into these roles What is my client looking for: * A people person who can both support and manage their clients and service users on how Offploy can support them. * Previous Recruitment Experience. within the Construction Sector * A logical and strategic thought process * An understanding of supporting disadvantaged individuals either within a care or criminal justice background. * The passion, determination and desire to make a positive impact to both individuals and the community as a whole. * A self-starter who is organised and can manage their own diary What can we offer you: * A competitive salary * An expenses account * 25 Days holiday plus statutory bank holidays About Offploy CIC Offploy CIC was formed to support businesses to recruit and mentor people with criminal convictions. We are on a mission to place 250 people with criminal convictions into meaningful, mentored and sustainable employment by July 2019. We have experienced incredible success across England and Wales supporting many employers to recruit and mentor people with criminal convictions. We are also fortunate to hold contracts with commissioners and government services in this area in order to strengthen the great work we do. Offploy is about making a difference in people’s lives – not just the candidates who we support into employment but also our social employment advisors who have each been involved in the criminal justice system in one way or another. We believe we can reduce reoffending and make society safer by offering a peer-led approach. This role is not exclusive to people who have had previous criminal convictions.
