Location: Manchester Salary: £22,000 plus excellent benefits package 2019 has been a historic and unforgettable year for our client, an award-winning, venue for sport, business and leisure. This business does not stand still and has impressive plans for 2020 and beyond. As a result of their phenomenal growth and investment, they are now looking to expand the HR team with the appointment of a Staffing and Recruitment Officer. Key responsibilities: Staffing ·Responsible for controlling and managing booking of all variable service labour ·Responsible for the allocation of fixed labour within event planning to ensure all events are appropriately staffed ·Develop and maintain good working relationships with casual staff ·Organise regular interview dates for casual service staff, ensuring all the paperwork is correct and all candidates are greeted in a welcoming manner ·Ensure all staff are thoroughly trained and inducted with assistance from Duty Managers to be fully prepared for their first shift ·Ensure the labour software system is kept up to date with staff information and training certificates ·Ensure all staffing policies and procedures are always adhered to. ·Liaise with agencies, confirming business requirements and maintaining relationships ·Facilitate large check ins to ensure all the staff are checked in efficiently, staffing levels are correct, staff are adhering to the uniform standards and rectify if not ·Monitor performance of the variable event labour ·Responsible for service uniform, ensuring stock levels are upheld to prevent shortfalls on large events and ordering additional uniform if necessary. Issuing uniform to new employees and ensuring a uniform disclaimer is signed ·General business administration Recruitment ·Managing web content in relation to current job vacancies ·Attend recruitment events and job fairs to promote any current vacancies ·Contacting unsuccessful applicants ·Assist in organising and confirming applicant interviews ·Support the Recruitment and Training Manager with interviewing candidates The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: ·Some previous experience in an administrative, HR or recruitment role. ·Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills ·Excellent IT knowledge, previous experience with labour software systems desirable ·Confident, well presented ·Flexibility – 40 hours per week but would involve some evenings and weekend work ·The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion ·Positive, driven attitude ·Highly proactive and innovative in approach In return we will offer you: ·A competitive salary ·22 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays ·Increased annual leave upon length of service ·Opportunity to purchase additional holidays ·Company Pension Plan (7% company contribution) ·Life Assurance ·Health Cash Plan ·Free parking ·Fitness classes (2 per week) ·Discounted hotel and F&B rates across Hilton ·Regular social events ·Company awards ·Personal and professional development opportunities If you feel you have the relevant experience and would like to apply for the role of Staffing and Recruitment Officer, please forward your CV in word format
