Job Description

Our client, a high-profile and diverse higher education institution is seeking an individual with relevant marketing or student recruitment experience to work in the section of their External Relations Department dealing with recruitment, outreach and widening participation. You will undertake a range of duties relating to the development, implementation and evaluation of effective strategic activities to promote the University and achieve UK student recruitment targets. To that end you will: •Coordinate recruitment initiatives to meet targets •Develop and manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, including developing solid links with schools and colleges and managing liaison with key influencers •Represent the University at HE fairs and other recruitment events and organise internal recruitment events such as open and/or taster days •Provide expert advice on student recruitment initiatives for faculties •Advise and counsel prospective students and stakeholders across the entire recruitment cycle •Develop marketing collateral to maximise student recruitment potential, including producing and editing copy for written and online communications and promotion •Maintain the enquiry and contacts databases and update relevant sections of the prospective students’ website •Co-ordinate the Student Ambassador Scheme •Organise and evaluate a programme of information events for staff in schools and colleges including event promotion, arranging speakers, managing bookings, and follow-up and evaluation activities. Confident but approachable and flexible in your approach to work, it is essential that you demonstrate a high standard of customer service skills, experience of successfully managing events and of preparing presentations, and the ability to develop and maintain excellent working and stakeholder relationships
