Student Recruitment Consultant / Apprenticeships Working across Trowbridge, Salisbury and Chippenham Full Time Permanent £24,000 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and College closure days Are you organised, self-motivated and with a flair for marketing? Our client is looking for talented individuals to help find, support and place people into Apprenticeship vacancies. Our client is the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is fast on its way to becoming outstanding having achieved a good Ofsted grade in June 2015. They are currently seeking a Student Recruitment Consultant to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to drive apprenticeship applications and recruitment, specifically ensuring that sufficient suitable candidates are identified, prepared and matched into employer vacancies whilst working collaboratively with the business development team, admissions and curriculum teams to ensure that all apprenticeship applicants are supported throughout their application journey. Within this role your main responsibilities will include identifying, managing and creating online and social media campaigns aimed at attracting apprenticeship applicants; developing specific sales and marketing plans for apprenticeship recruitment and establishing close working relationships with academic divisions. You will also be expected to manage apprentice applications, arranging initial assessment and interview, matching with employer vacancies and tracking candidates through to enrolment. Liaising closely with the business development team, you will ensure that candidates receive support activities to aid their application including CV preparation, interview skills and job search techniques. The successful candidate will ideally have worked within a similar role previously with experience of recruitment, including that of students, and marketing campaigns. It would be advantageous for you to have experience of supporting a young person with mentoring, coaching and employability skills along with knowledge of apprenticeships. It is essential that you are a strong communicator who can work as part of a team and is outcome orientated. You should also be able to work autonomously and on your own initiative.
