Job Description

Our client based in central Maidenhead has an immediate requirement for 2 x Supply Chain Specialists. The ideal candidate will have worked within the recruitment/resourcing sector. The overall objective is to implement, influence, negotiate, promote, performance and contract manage suppliers to deliver success. Ensuring a "best in class" service is achieved and all Service Level Agreements, Business Plan and external financial targets are exceeded, adhering to all client Framework principles and ensuring continuity of supply through the supply chain network. Overall Role Objective: The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting several key projects within the team, including Contract negotiations, Onboarding, Benchmark analysis, Performance management and adhoc duties The Supply Chain Specialist will need to be able to develop key relationships with suppliers to ensure that the data we receive is valid and accurate. Duties & Responsibilities: General: Understand and act congruently with the company culture, acting as a role model for all employees. Ensure that continuous improvement and excellent client and supplier experience are at the heart of all activity. Continually promote the supply chain as the single route for professional and specialist contract interim sourcing for government. Ensure files, records and all project material are maintained to agree standards with clear audit trail of activity. To keep abreast of all legislative obligations and ensure procedures are implemented and adhered to within the supply chain. Supplier administration and co-ordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with all key suppliers at an operational level. Conduct benchmarking analysis on an adhoc as well as, formal basis in line with our contract obligations. Once benchmarking activity is complete, to feed the analysis to the recruitment teams so that they are able to communicate effectively to their end client the end results. Effective management of the Supplier performance rate card and where needs be - to give advice on how to improve on a case by case basis. Conduct regular meetings with key strategic suppliers. Performance management and analyse trends to gain value add for the business. Negotiate rates for each supplier during onboarding process and escalate queries to Supply Chain Managers. Creation of rate and benchmarking reports that can be fed back to our client. Monitor industry changes to ensure supply chain is fit for purpose. Support new client implementations and deliver training to new suppliers. Management of projects as and when required. Person Specification: Experience/Skills: Previous Recruitment / Resourcing / Supply Chain management experience. Strong administration skills. Ability to influence and negotiate. Strong numeric and analysis skills. Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising. Excellent communication skills - written and verbal. Excellent IT skills - MS Office
