Established in 1999 Total Assist Recruitment Ltd is a leader in the Medical Recruitment sector with a lively and vibrant head office based in the heart of Romford, Essex. We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment & Talent Development Assistant to join the HR department. This role is ideal for someone looking for their first role within a Human Resources function. Initially the role will have a focus on internal recruitment for our entry level recruitment consultant vacancies and recruitment for our head office functions. This will involve the following:- Placing adverts on job boards and social media Telephone screening candidates Inviting suitable candidates to recruitment days or interviews Facilitating recruitment days alongside other members of the HR team Inviting successful candidates to second stage interviews Providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates Making verbal offer of employment to successful candidates Managing job board subscriptions (ex. CV Library) In addition, we would also like to provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to progress into a Talent Development role. This would involve:- Printing training material for all training workshops that are delivered by our Training team Booking rooms and ensuring the relevant training equipment is available Formatting and branding training material Work alongside the HR & L&D lead to learn the compliance structure of the business with a view to progressing and delivering all apprenticeship level training Liaising with Line Managers and gaining needs and requirements for training plans for all new starters Full training as well as continuous development will be provided for both elements of the role. The ideal candidate will have already have gained some office administration or telesales experience. More importantly it is essential that the suitable candidate has a confident approach, is open to personal development and progression and has a 'can do’ attitude. It would be highly beneficial for the individual to have a genuine interest in developing a career in Human Resources and Learning & Development.
