Trainee Recruitment Candidate Resourcer / Apprentice Do you have a passion for recruitment but no luck getting in? Have you ever considered a recruitment apprenticeship? We are working with a company sponsored by a recognised government scheme that will enable you to achieve a recognised Recruitment Qualification at the end of your 12 month Apprenticeship. We are a fast paced Engineering Recruitment Company that require an energetic, self-motivated and organised candidate to join our lively, vibrant team. We are specialists for permanent staffing for all engineering sectors across the U.K. We invest a lot of time and training in developing our employees and you will have a structured training plan to assist with your development. Duties Include • To source candidates, by utilising the company database and own initiative. • To follow company best practice, in sourcing suitable candidates. • To achieve weekly/monthly productivity and efficiency targets. • To assist the Directors, FLM, or Consultants in successfully placing the candidates. • To place adverts written by the consultants, or Resourcer on to various web sites as instructed. • To use specific criteria provided by the Consultants or Resourcer to search designated searchable web sites and produce an applicant shortlist. • To download or print off the CV’s from the shortlist for benchmarking of suitability by the Consultant or FLM. • Where appropriate, to call suitable applicants from the shortlist and confirm their availability for new roles. • To ensure that the following days interviews are confirmed by telephone. Training to be provided If successful you will have the opportunity to achieve an Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 in Recruitment delivered at the workplace. The pathway will include working towards a Technical Certificate, National Vocational Qualification, Employer Rights and Responsibilities, Transferable Skills (Maths, English & ICT) and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. There will be an opportunity to gain excellent work-based training and develop your skills in an office environment with a salary and career development opportunities. Requirements • Happy to progress within a company • Ambitious and keen on securing a long term career • Target driven and able to prioritise a busy workload • Confident on telephone and professional in your manner • A-D in Maths & English preferred Personal Qualities • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise • Customer focused • Confident and friendly • Strong attention to detail • Accurate and a fast learner • Well presented Training to be provided • NVQ in Recruitment • Functional Skills (Maths, English & IT) • Technical Certificate • Employee Rights & Responsibilities Future Prospects This role is great access in to an expanding company with the opportunity to move into a consultancy role really quickly.
