Job Description

We are looking for a Business Support Officer / Trainee Consultant to join the Directors team of consultants on a 1 year training program, with the view to then become a Recruitment Consultant. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to think independently, multitask and prioritise workload. Main Purpose of Job: 1. Service clients by resourcing candidates for client vacancies to maximise sales. 2. Use effective resourcing methods to ensure a continuous and wide pool of candidates. 3. Meet or exceed weekly activity targets set by your Divisional Director. Candidates Resourcing Tasks 1. Review daily all CVs submitted from all resourcing methods (cold calling, mail merges, Linkedin searches etc) and: (i) Select suitable CVs and call candidates to ascertain their suitability and availability using prepared telephone interview scripts. (ii) Successful candidate interviewed at (i) above – details to be forwarded to relevant sales consultant to sell the vacancy to those candidates. (iii) Update the IQX database system with: candidate CV and check details are populated accurately. 2. Review daily client VMS vacancy alerts and identify suitable roles and match potential candidates to fill the roles advertised. 3. Post agreed job adverts on our job boards to attract candidates to fill them. 4. Identify and map existing social care staff across existing and new clients to increase the candidate pool on IQX. 5. On a daily basis identify, agree (with sales consultants) and submit candidate CVs for advertised roles within system deadline guidelines and procedures. 6. Arranging interviews and collating feedback from both applicants and hiring managers, and then providing the shortlisted candidates with relevant information. 7. Proactively establish and maintain positive relationships with candidates and client contacts. Candidate Administration and Processing Tasks 1. Arrange and assist sales consultants in conducting registration meetings with new candidates. Compliance Tasks 1. Acquire all relevant registration compliance documents 2. Conducting eligibility checks to ensure that all documentation are in line with current employment legislations Other Tasks 1. Ensure internal placement forms are accurately completed. 2. Ensure accurate information is provided to enable the contract team to issue correct contracts 3. Act as point of contact between sales consultants and their clients/candidates, including scheduling phone calls and arranging face-to-face meetings. 4. Manage diary, appointments and provide timely reminders for the team
