Trainee Recruitment Consultant Leeds City Centre – LS1 4LT (10 min walk from station) £18,000 – £24,000 (DOE) / £35,000 OTE (uncapped commission) + laptop, mobile phone, pension, life assurance, 23 days holiday (with option to buy additional days), company car scheme, cycle to work scheme, company incentives + other benefits The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start/develop your career in recruitment. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will: * Receive first-class sector and recruitment training, on an ongoing basis * Work alongside established Consultants to aide your development * Source candidates within the technical engineering sector * Create your own network of candidates – through advertising, job boards and professional networking sites * Develop relationships with existing and new clients - understanding their needs and advising them on suitable candidates and market trends * Oversee the entire recruitment cycle including finding candidates, assessing their skills, matching them to the job and the interview process * Act as a mediator in negotiating with your clients and candidates to secure a sale - the placement of your candidate * Achieve challenging sales targets The Candidate: The successful Trainee Recruitment Consultant will be: * Ambitious, with a strong desire to succeed * Confident, with excellent communication skills * Able to work autonomously and effectively * Comfortable with a fast-paced and target-driven environment * Motivated to provide a first-class service for clients and candidates alike * Experienced in B2B sales – not a necessity, but preferable The Benefits: The successful Trainee Recruitment Consultant can expect: * Consistent first-class training programme, delivered by established, successful Recruitment professionals on an ongoing basis * A structured progression plan with clearly defined routes to promotion * The opportunity to play a key part in helping the region hit a 3-year goal to double our profit * A 6-9 month threshold-free period, while you get to grips with your role * An extremely high earning potential – our Consultants earn a third of what they bill; you should expect to be earning upwards of £50,000 in your second year with us ATA Recruitment, (part of the RTC Group PLC, £68m turnover 2016) are the UK’s leading provider of candidates into the lucrative technical and engineering sector on both a contract and permanent basis.
