About the job Your job as a Recruitment Consultant are to use sales, marketing techniques, networking and business development techniques to attract business from companies. You must develop a good understanding of companies and their business is key, in order to build better stronger relationships with companies. As well as this, you'll be attracting candidates by using a wide range of media and drafting advertising copy for use on social media /networks, attending events, recruiting and through referrals. Once you have found suitable candidates, you will screen and interview candidates, conducting background checks, and matching candidates to jobs. Naturally, with the role, it is a consultative job and you will need to advise both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and on job opportunities. Your personality and how you will fit into the team It's a fairly big team of 20 who are very focused on the job but equally enjoy a few team lunches. You'll need to not take yourself too seriously, but equally know the professional boundary as you'll have a lot of work to do. You'll need to have a proven track record of working hard, and also able to back up your results. What skills are needed for the job? * 6 months+ sales/relationship management experience (B2B, B2C, Recruitment, Cold-Calling) * Experience within the financial markets would be ideal but not necessary * Highly motivated, ambitious and driven by success * Competitive * Confident within a target driven environment * Passionate about progression with a proven track record of success * Strong academic background * Excellent communication skills "I've been with SThree for 10 years. This rises with each promotion and you will be set a target from day 1 to work towards. You'll have targets to achieve to incentivise you to achieve these targets such as lunch club where you'll be taken out to lunch for the afternoon with your Manager and others in your team to congratulate the work you're doing. We also have quarterly and yearly incentives where our highest performers are taken away on holiday to places like Las Vegas, Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin.
