Trainee Recruitment Consultant Location: Loughton, Essex, England Salary: £16,000 - £22,000 + Commission + Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Anual Bonus + Company phone + Sick days paid Type - Permanent DSM Recruitment is a highly regarded recruitment business within the Demolition and Construction sectors. We have recently posted 133% year-on-year growth (GP) and as a result, we are looking to take on several trainee recruitment consultants for both our permanent and temporary divisions. Working as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant for DSM Recruitment’s Construction division, you can expect a busy, satisfying role that offers a realistic potential to increase your earnings over and above your basic salary. Often (but not always) an entry-level role to the Recruitment Industry as well as our business, this is a position that requires your application of a variety of skills and personality qualities. The role involves: • using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies • visiting clients to build and develop positive relationships with them • developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment • advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of job portals • using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships • headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work • using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy • receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client • requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client • briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question • preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants • organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client • informing candidates about the results of their interviews • negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates • offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression The crux of this role is balancing the need to work at a fast pace as you speak to our customers, using your charm and influence to build rapport - but also focusing on the accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks as you work to meet fixed deadlines. Basically, we need a perfectionist with personality! We're looking for someone with great communications skills - both written and verbal. Ideally, you'll have some B2B experience, which could be gained in a sales or customer service role.
