Salary and Package: As a trainee your salary will be assessed according to your previous experience. One shoe doesn’t fit all and we understand that just because you don’t have experience in recruitment, you may have a flair for sales and business. However, your package will consist of: • Excellent basic Salary – To be agreed • Monthly commission • Quarterly and annual bonus’ • Staff reward trips and incentives (Winter and summer) • Flexible working hours and time off. Training/Progression opportunities: We take training and development seriously. You will receive hands on day to day training from the outset with an industry expert and one to one training with a Director of the business for 1 week per month, combined with a regular review process to ensure that you are totally prepared to excel in your new role. The job role and the desk: Your training will begin in the Construction team. After an initial period of induction and basic training, you will start to make contact with new and existing clients as well as potential candidates. Throughout your probationary period you will develop skills and become well versed in advertising, sales, recruitment, marketing, negotiating and the Construction industry in general. Expected duties: * Learn and develop a good understanding of clients and how the construction industry works. * Learn and developing a good understanding of candidates, their roles and responsibilities and expectations of new roles * Fully register candidates checking references, checking qualifications and adhering to compliance. * Use several various techniques to attract business from construction companies including site visits, marketing, business development and outbound sales. * Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts * Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and clients. What we want from you in return: We don’t expect a beginner to understand our business but we are looking for someone with the right attitude and aptitude to take on board the training. If you are open minded, willing to learn and have a good work ethic, that is all we expect. We want someone with initiative and the confidence to express it. Essential Qualifications/Experience required: The position is ideally suited to either a graduate or someone with a previous background in sales. A full and clean driving licence is essential. All applicants will be responded to and those that are successful will then be expected to have a combination of telephone and face to face interviews throughout the selection process. At least two previous employment reference will also be required
