Being a recruitment consultant is far from boring and we certainly don’t have anyone working for us that is feeling the way I just described at the top of this ad. Recruitment is sales and sales means making money and if we make money you make money. First year earnings for a consultant with us are by no means going to set your world alight – but we are realists – you will earn between £20K and £40K in your first 12 months. Just remember you won’t know anything about recruitment and probably have no sales experience so it would be hard for you to break past this but it has been done – we just don’t want to give you false expectations. Year 2 we would expect you to be exceeding £40K and from year 3 it really is down to you but currently we would feel you will be at £60K++ We recruit 90% of our staff on their attributes and work ethics rather than skills, education and experience. We would rather be honest and up front with you from the start about how it will be rather than building up false expectations.
