Job Description

Our Portishead based company is currently looking for trainee recruitment consultants. SmithCorp is an Investors in People and Virgin Fast Track 100 company with over 14 years trading, a £35 million turnover business with a proven history in the education sector. The Portishead office is a new venture that will specialise in non-teaching education roles, recruiting support and infrastructure candidates for education institutions (ground staff, caretakers, finance, administration, ICT professionals) and Special Education Needs candidates. Full training will be provided by our experienced managers and training academy. You will have the opportunity to progress through the ranks and increase your earning potential along with your responsibilities. If you perform you will be fast tracked. The successful candidates will want to work hard, be passionate about being successful, with clear telephone communication skills. Qualifications are not essential. We will interview on personality and the ability to perform a target-based sales role, rather than having a degree or A grades. Fresh school leavers, graduates or indeed applicants looking to change jobs will all be reviewed. It’s an office based job located close to the marina with its many bars and restaurants. A great open plan office that will suit applications from local people in walking distance but also people who want to drive and park. It’s a fun and vibrant sales environment that offers fantastic support and training to SmithCorp’s 150 employees with offices in Bristol, Truro and London. You will start on a £20,000 basic + uncapped commission. 1st year OTE is £25,000-£35,000. You will have the opportunity to hit the many targets and incentives along the way.
