Pertemps Hemel Hempstead are looking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join their busy expanding team!

The Resourcers main purpose is to provide full support to the targets of the Sales Team while also ensuring company compliance and pre-payroll checks are adhered to and are in line with Company policy and legislation. The Resourcer will know the essential information in relation to the branch’s recruitment needs and be the “go to” for Branch Staff and Temporary Workers. As a Resourcer you will be first in line to begin recruiting for a customer’s needs via the instruction of the Branch Staff, You will be responsible for Advertising, Head-hunting & CV searching as well as providing a filter via questioning and briefing in the form of PQQ’s and “Commitments Tests” In addition you will provide potential candidates with a work brief or Job description.
The ideal candidate will ideally express:
Strong personal commitment to ensure we are delivering a high quality service to temporary workers via a streamlined payroll process and compliance checks.
The ability to identify & set objectives according to targets while identifying at all times opportunities to develop extra revenue to the business, this might include calls, emails or passing on information within the sales team

Belief in own ability or expertise and able to approach a situation in a focused and responsible way giving a professional feedback to candidates, customers and internal staff
Approachability and the ability to affect others in a non-judgmental way to help reach positives resolutions for the business as well as team members.
Concern for a orderly and constant approach to work tasks, devoid of reminders. Always striving to reach business objectives even if that results in over-communication and over cautious behaviours.
Concern for an orderly approach, clear and concise communication without prompt, anticipating and prevention of problems via communication that is lead rather than followed.
Belief and commitment to the entire team by delivery of clear communication updated information e.g.: rotas, rates, referencing, workforce availability, paperwork checks and pre-payroll preparation.
Ability to cope with ever changing situation on the ground as well as addressing fundamental shifts in the client demands and occasional branch demand which take you away from the day to day objectives.
All round gathering of information relating to branch vacancies and ongoing recruitment needs.
Regular participation in branch meetings
Assisting internal staff with forecasting for clients and management of workforce and trained pools of temporary staff via gathering availability and holiday when necessary
Exploring all ideas relating to candidate attraction / watchdogs / advertising.
Preparation and execution of PQQ’s and Job Briefings.
Registration & resourcing candidates as necessary in conjunction with the BR
A willingness to improve the branch GPT via great candidates communication & ensuring accuracy via the payroll.
PQQ’s set up per role per client –
Service reviews with actions (written) – When required, - not a key part of the role
Rota’s sent accurate with contingency plans in conjunction with supporting internal staff
Recruitment plan in place for all clients’ needs
Expansion specs and visits – When required, - not a key part of the role
KPI’s compete and sent in conjunction with supporting internal staff
Preparing bookings for Payroll
Preparation of compliance documents
Key goals (may increase or decrease)
Preparation of New Starters
Ensuring Full compliance on Unity inc: Rates / Titles / Availability/ Non-availability and holiday.
Service Visits as necessary with the Internal Staff
Service review sheets to Management periodically as set within targets
Speculative activity weekly – In line with branch activities
Resourcer informed weekly or monthly and targeted in connection with TL/MG

Salary starts from £10 per hour – this is a 12 week temp to perm position – salary is competitive
