Here at Wagstaff Recruitment in Lichfield we are looking to recruit an energetic and engaging Trainee Recruitment Consultant to support the experienced recruitment team. This is a key role within the Wagstaff operation and can develop into the position of a full Recruitment Consultant should this meet your personal desire. 2019 has seen another year of growth with 2020 seeing us celebrate 10 years in business! With continued and repeat business from our trusted clients plus exciting opportunities for new business to come we are looking for dedicated individuals who have excellent customer service and / or internal sales experience and wish to transfer this to the Recruitment sector. The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant is varied and busy and to be successful you will need to possess excellent telephone skills, great time management and be an all-round great communicator to build trusted relationships with both job seekers and employers. Previous experience within a sales, customer services or technical sales environment would be ideal, previous recruitment experience is not required. You must be driven to deliver high levels of service within a fast-paced competitive environment. We will train you through the full process of recruitment from resourcing CV`s for open vacancies, to account/client management. Although recruitment can appear a simple process, it will be a good 6 – 12 months before you feel confident in your own ability to be let into the wild!  Duties and responsibilities: Reacting in a timely manner to new CV’s which come onto the market by contacting them via telephone, email, text, Facebook or LinkedIn. Conducting thorough telephone interviews to ascertain skills, capabilities and candidate requirements for a new job. Building a strong and reliable network of suitable contacts to fulfil client’s vacancies. Taking references for applicants where necessary. Booking interviews and obtaining post interview feedback Accurately updating the CRM system with relevant information on clients, vacancies and applicants. And the best part – communicating successful offers to candidates and making their day! Skills & attributes required of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant: Ability to work in a fast paced, sales / customer delivery environment. Excellent telephone manner and ability to build relationships. Ability to multitask and prioritise / strong time management skills. Word and Excel skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy for compliance. Strong general administration skills. Team player, professional and courteous.
