We are currently recruiting in Hayes and this requires a committed and tenacious individual to join us as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, we have vacancies to join our Primary and Special Educational Needs teams. This is full time and permanent, with a minimum starting salary of £23,000 and the opportunity to be promoted quarterly and forge a long lasting, successful career within the Education Recruitment sector.

The role of Trainee Recruitment Consultant will involve working as part of a supportive team striving to grow their business and geographical area. In addition to working for the market leader, you will receive unrivalled daily coaching and on-going support to ensure you are successful. Knowledge of the education sector is desirable, through working in schools or family and friends within the education sector, however you will be given the tools and training to be a successful recruiter within TP.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Personnel, you are the vital link between your client schools and candidates. You will join a thriving team who work with a specific sector in the local area, working to KPIs and targets to continue the growth within the branch and chosen location.
Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools in your area
Build and develop your own candidate database by sourcing and recruiting quality support staff and teachers, including newly qualified teachers and teaching assistants and graduate aspiring teachers
Conduct meetings to build relationships with key decision makers in schools in order to successfully service your clients requirements
Contribute to our summer term campaign and September recruitment drive
Support your team and achieve team targets as well as individual accolades

The ideal applicant will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality, tenacity and urgency are extremely important in a fast-paced environment like Education. We review performance regularly and you may qualify for promotions up to 4 times per year based on performance and future business levels.
Hours of Work
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis (42.5 hours per week, 5 days per week), working to current Government guidelines with office working and working from home – equipment provided to support WFH.

Annual basic salary from £20,000 per year plus additional commission (£3000 minimum)
