Job title: Trainee Recruitment Consultant Department: Jobmatch (UK) Ltd, Normanton Purpose of the job: To generate gross margin profits through recruitment activities Responsible to: Senior Recruitment Consultant Supervisory responsibilities: None to begin with but there is the opportunity to grow your own desk to a suitable level. Accountabilities:  Responsible for generating income for the business  Responsible to clients, candidates  Responsible for performing and consistently high standards and achieving KPI’s and targets set by the business Main duties:  Working to a pre-defined list of KPI’s to bring on new clients  Registering new candidates and accurately placing their details onto the company database  Keeping and maintaining accurate and compliant candidate and client records  Making permanent placements in line with company targets  Making outbound, proactive sales calls to prospective companies to generate new business (vacancies and bookings)  Booking yourself out on company visits (in line with company KPI’s) to ensure strong conversions of sales for the business  Taking client booking and vacancy requirements accurately over the phone and face to face and actively seeking candidates to fill these positions  Achieving gross profit targets for the business  Reporting weekly activity and sales figures to the Senior Recruitment Consultant Working conditions: Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 08.30 to 17.00pm, Friday 08.30 to 16.30pm (although may be required to work additional hours, including weekends and evenings to complete your daily duties from time to time) Salary & benefits: £17,297 + Commission, which will be paid into your bank account via BACS monthly Company Pension Scheme: (details within your company handbook) Prospects: Opportunity to recruit and lead a recruitment team and grow the company brand Person specification Knowledge, training skills and qualifications required:  Knowledge of working to KPI’s or targets  Confident and assertive personality  Open and approachable manner  Highly driven and self-motivated  Able to work with little or no supervision whilst maintaining a consistently high standard of work  Strong sales ability  Must be highly organised with sound administration skills  Good overall knowledge of legislation affecting an everyday recruitment environment desirable  Will be required to undertake a Sales NVQ Level 2, to include Maths and English if required to support training.  Must be able to work within a small team.
