Trainee Recruitment Consultants Birmingham - St Pauls Square Entry Level = £16,000 Basic + Commission Telesales or Sales Experience = £18,000 Basic + Commission 12 months+ Outbound Telesales Experience = £20,000 Basic + Commission Who are we and what do we do? Midas Selection is an established and accredited, independent recruitment firm based in Central Birmingham. We specialise in helping employers all across the UK in a variety of industries, hire and employ Sales and Marketing professionals. Our team of consultants all specialise in something slightly different, and so will you. We find sales people in the food industry, sales people selling construction products, sales people selling engineering solutions, sales people selling medical products, sales people in finance, in advertising, in pet food, in military equipment. You name it, we’ve done it. We are a small, established business with high professional standards and we are good at what we do. We have some really experienced people working for us and now we want to pass on this knowledge and hire our next phase of consultants, who will possess the drive, long term vision and desire to work and learn in the recruitment profession. What can you expect in Recruitment? It is our belief that recruitment is largely a SALES job. In order for our clients to understand how we can help them, we need to contact them and tell them what we do, and why we are good at what we do, and how we can help them. In order to do this we need to research companies, get in touch by calling them and try to speak to the key management personnel that are responsible for hiring and managing sales professionals. Once we have their confidence and their recruitment brief, we then go out and find talented people for them using a variety of methods. It is an office based role, typically 8.30am to 5.30pm, you’ve got your own desk and computer with the latest software to help you research, record and plan your day to day telephone calls. You’ll be trained, supported and encouraged. Success doesn’t come overnight, and we know for a fact that it takes the following characteristics to be a success. You must be confident, believe in your own ability, be able to take a few knocks and be resilient to try again, to be competitive and have a will to win, and to be able to put things into perspective and be focused. You need to have heart and desire and appreciate that a career is not mastered in weeks. If you’re good, you can expect to earn an above average salary quite quickly. You also need skills of course! These include being IT literate and being articulate in the way you communicate verbally and in writing. You will be a problem solver and learn how to overcome challenges and obstacles. What type of people are we looking for? Entry Level – We will consider applications from a variety of backgrounds, you may be a graduate with little to no work experience, or have worked in another industry like a pub or a bank, or retail, but want to work in recruitment. What we do want to see is that you have achieved and been a clear success either in work, or in sport or music or the arts or other areas of life. We want to see that you are driven, confident, articulate and determined. Some Experience of Sales – You have had a taste of proactive sales, perhaps in the field or in telesales and you now want thorough training and a supported career. We still wish to see success and achievement in other aspects of your life to prove to us that you are competitive, and that you can overcome challenges and drive for success! 12 months Telesales Experience – You clearly like selling on the phone and can sell and influence people to listen to you. Recruitment is the obvious next step. We still want to see evidence of you being a winner but after 12 months in sales you should be able to prove this to us easily! What does the future look like? We have a clear career pathway laid out for you, which you will set out to strive forward and achieve step by step, with regular training modules and support. Your pace of progression will be in line with your achievements. We see no reason why in 2-3 years of hard work and dedication, you won’t be established, well trained, and earning over £40,000 per year in a rewarding career.
