JOB TITLE: Resourcer LOCATION: Glasgow City Centre SALARY/RATE AND BENEFITS: £14000 - £16000 YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Excellent telephone manner, computer literate, excellent people skills, patience. IDEALLY YOU ALSO HAVE: Knowledge of the Engineering sector in Scotland. Previous recruitment agency experience. JOB PURPOSE To work with contractors and consultants to successfully resource candidates for appropriate vacancies and bookings, therefore achieving maximum revenue and opportunities for the Branch in the shortest possible time-scale. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Where applicable interview and assess contractors to fully understand their skills and experience. Identify any suitable existing job opportunities or contact clients in endeavour to obtain a suitable order. Where applicable take full and comprehensive job descriptions and requirements from clients. Ensure all applicants comply with UK/European Law and are legally entitled to work in the UK. Ensure all applicants provide original documentation to copied and retained on their file. Provide contractors with comprehensive information and instructions of the client, including its location, Health and Safety at work requirements, job expectation standards, timesheet process, hours of work and rate of pay. Maintain regular contact with contractors to continually assess their needs, availability to work, give feedback on their performance and actively seek suitable work for them to ensure a quality service is provided. Identify any contractors who require re-newel of certificates, assessments or competencies in line with clients/Rullion/legal requirements. Advise and recommend relevant contractors for additional training to enhance their skills and competencies. Actively maintain the contractors database, archiving all relevant records Screen and log advertisement, Monster and internet responses against set criteria and arrange appointments when appropriate. Regular contractor mailshots to lapsed and 'FOJ' candidates. Compose and forward 'Service Satisfaction' questionnaires to placed or unsuccessful candidates, to gauge service levels, effectiveness and analyse responses. Prepare and collate CVs for clients. Confirm interview time, date, location, job spec, contact with candidates. ADMINISTRATION Keep systems up-to-date with accurate and detailed records of clients, associates and orders in accordance with quality procedures to ensure clients are invoiced accurately and contractors are paid accurately. Ensure all orders comply with company regulations, European Employment legislation and Health and Safety legislation. Ensure all complaints/issues are recorded against contractors or clients with satisfactory conclusion, disciplinary action logged. All applicant CVs are coded and logged on receipt and added to relevant files Ensure all written communication is presented professionally, accurately and checked for spelling/grammatical errors. Ensure all payments to contractors comply with company regulations and tax legislation. Ensure all contractors provide original certificates and licences required to comply with company and client requirements. To carry out any such duties required by the branch/location as instructed by line manager. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Job holder must be motivated and confident individual with good interpersonal skills, able to cope under pressure and be flexible to contribute to building a successful team. Keyboard and telephone skills and experience essential. Strong written and communication skills. Attention to detail. Organised, hard working and flexible.
