Job Description

Objective The purpose of the Trainee Recruitment Consultant is to support the organisation's Recruitment processes and procedures to fulfil the provision of services for Locum medical professionals. The general responsibility of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant is to support the Recruitment Consultants in providing of a professional and efficient recruitment solution to a niche pool of candidates; that supports our client's requirements and that complies with relevant laws and regulations and internal procedures. Responsibilities The Trainee Recruitment Consultant's duty is to support Recruiters and Management on a day-to-day basis in any capacity. * To take responsibility for all administrative duties as instructed by the Recruitment Consultant and/ or Management (ownership) * All confirmations - new and amendments for candidates and clients; this includes the filing to such documents * Compliance checklists - liaising with the appropriate Compliance Co-Ordinator as necessary * Availability - when necessary support the Recruitment Consultants in obtaining availability * Management of in-house and third party systems (control) * Add new/ updates to vacancies on the organisation's in-house database * Update third party systems such as 247 Time, Staff Flow, Tempre, etc. (list not exhaustive) * Monitor candidates in long-term positions (monitoring and detection) * Liaise with the appropriate Compliance Co-ordinator with relation to; * Professional Licencing checks * Compliance renewals/ expiries * Participate in weekly meetings with management to discuss your personal development plan and your achievement against key performance indicators. * Liaise with the Accounts department in regards to timesheets * Chasing outstanding timesheets from candidates * Uploading hours onto third party systems * To resolve compliance difficulties as they occur (resolution) * Work with the Recruitment Consultant and the Compliance Co-Ordinator to resolve challenges * To work with the organisation in implementation of rules and controls (advisory) * In conjunction with the Recruitment Consultant and Management to assist in the implementation of new statutory or non-statutory requirements. * Provide updates on the status of implementation * Advising when necessary to candidates and staff of the new changes and the surrounding legislation * Effective and constructive team working with colleagues within the organisation * Maintain professional when representing yourself and/ or the organisation at all times when liaising with other members of staff and/ or management, candidates, third party suppliers/ organisations, auditors either in person, using the telephone or via email
