About the job Your job as a Recruitment Consultant are to use sales, marketing techniques, networking and business development techniques to attract business from companies. You must develop a good understanding of companies and their business is key, in order to build better stronger relationships with companies. As well as this, you'll be attracting candidates by using a wide range of media and drafting advertising copy for use on social media /networks, attending events, recruiting and through referrals. Once you have found suitable candidates, you will screen and interview candidates, conducting background checks, and matching candidates to jobs. Naturally, with the role, it is a consultative job and you will need to advise both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and on job opportunities. Your personality Excellent communicator - Recruitment is all about communication. Written, verbal, subconscious, buying signals, objections, concerns, body language, negotiating, influencing. These are what you need to be great at demonstrating. Team Player - Every company wants it but doesn't explain why. Well with us, we understand that in order for you to achieve your goals, you need a solid team behind you. This role is to build a brand new division of Real Staffing called Real Digital and you'll need to leverage other people's knowledge and relationships to allow this to grow. Work Ethic - In Recruitment, your input directly affects the output. There will be longer hours in the early parts of your career, there will be times that you'll feel under pressure and there will be times that you question why you do this job. But it's having that "Get up and Go" attitude to influence your day and make things better is what is needed. What skills are needed for the job? Let's be honest with you, there is no proven formula to what makes a great Recruitment Consultant. Sales experience isn't always needed to be a success; the desire to make something that you can be accountable for is what is important. For this particular role, we are seeking: * Ideally 12 months or more recruitment experience, with provable success * Experience in Digital, marketing, PR, Advertising or media recruitment would be great but not essential. If you currently work in any of these sectors not in a recruitment role then we want to talk to you also. * Highly organised and tenacious with ability to prioritise tasks * Confident at business development (ideal but not critical from day 1) and not fazed by tasks outside your comfort zone, wants to push and learn * A good sense of humour and relaxed personality will ensure you fit into that team very well. Salary and benefits We pay a very competitive base salary as a Recruitment Consultant which has uncapped commission with no thresholds to work to. Everything you generate, you get paid for. Your basic rises with each promotion and you will be set a target from day 1 to work towards. You'll have targets to achieve to incentivise you to achieve these targets such as lunch club where you'll be taken out to lunch for the afternoon with your Manager and others in your team to congratulate the work you're doing. We also have quarterly and yearly incentives where our highest performers are taken away on holiday to places like Las Vegas, Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin.
