Organically grown, we recruit only at trainee level. Each member of staff including managers, directors and even our COO started at the bottom of the ladder here and worked their way up – with the same drive, determination and hard work, there is every possibility you could be the director of your own brand within 4 years. Recruitment is not a 9-5 role – in order to earn your potential you will need to work hard and put in the effort to reap the reward. We’ve kicked 2016 off to a flying start with 23 new starters joining the business across our 3 offices and 45 promotions. So far, we have promoted 3 of our senior consultants to management level – all have achieved this within a very impressive 18 months. What does a recruitment consultant do? Much of your day will be spent developing new business – nurturing and building relationships with new and existing clients. You will be given your own individual market and area to work – essentially your own “business within the business”. With our intensive training you will soon become a specialist in this market. No prior knowledge or experience is required! Your market will be completely unique to you so you will not receive any negative, cutthroat competitive from your colleague, ensuring a supportive, team environment. Recruitment, done well, is a service that your clients will value – the better service you provide, the more your clients will visit you for repeat business and the more money you will make! Training Full, extensive training will be given throughout your career with us in our very own in house business performance academy lead by our Training and Development Director and assisted by top billers, managers and directors who have all worked their way up from trainees. Your training will include: • Regular one-on-one mentoring sessions with a senior consultant. • Intensive courses. • Networking evenings with top billers, managers and directors. • Full sales and marketing training. • Leadership and development programmes. Rewards and Incentives • Organic Growth We have only ever and will continue to recruit at a trainee level. Promotions are only ever internal here in 2015 alone we saw 120+ promotions across the company. • Completely uncapped commission Realistically you will earn between £25-30k in your first 12 months with us – this will also include a £3k rise to your basic salary as you’re promoted from a trainee to a consultant. Within 18 months here, you should be on target to earn £40k+ and within four years, you will be earning in excess of £80k+. Many top consultants in the company earn a six figure salary however there is no limit on your earnings and we have a number of consultants who have earned over £45K in their first year at SmithCorp – what you put in here is what you will get out! You will have the ability to begin to earn commission from your first day in the company! • Monthly Lunch Clubs Achieve your monthly target and you will be given half a day on a Friday and treated to a no-expenses spared, champagne lunch at top local restaurants! • Overseas trips of a lifetime We run three all-inclusive 5* holidays a year – Las Vegas, Portugal and a ski trip. New trainees are often on our trips. It’s very simple - hit your target and you will be on the plane! Additionally, we run an annual charity trip enabling our consultants to make a difference to disadvantaged communities worldwide. Previous destinations include Ghana, Laos and Cambodia. … as well as a gym membership, company pension, healthcare plan, laptop allowance and even a Rolex target! What are we looking for?
