The Role: Recruitment is a business-to-business sales role. Here at SmithCorp, we are committed to providing a bespoke, tailored package to our clients. Despite being a ‘trainee,’ you will be a recruitment consultant from Day One and benefit from ‘on-the-job’ mentoring by one of the top billers in the company. With their guidance, you will be in control of your own clients and candidates from Day One – creating and maintaining relationships with them, negotiating fees and closing deals! There is no probation period and you have the ability to earn commission from day 1. Within your first 12 months, you will be expected to undergo at least 2 promotions and be set to earn between £25-30k with your basic salary guaranteed to rise by a minimum of £3k however hardworking consultants have earned over £40k. 2nd Year - You should be set to achieve a senior consultant promotion and on track to become a manager with your basic increasing by as much as £7k. Realistically you should be set to earn between £35-40k however, again, hard-working consultants have earned in excess of £55k in this year. 3rd Year – You should be managing a team of between 3 – 5 consultants with your mind set on growing your team further. Realistically you should be set to earn between £50-60k however, again, the reward for those who go above and beyond expectations can expect to earn much higher. 4th Year- You should be leading an established team of between 5 – 10 consultants and earning anywhere between £80 – 100k and progressing towards Associate Director level. Consultants who consistently hit targets can expect invites to three all-inclusive 5* holidays a year – Las Vegas, Portugal and a ski trip as well as Monthly Lunch Clubs. New trainees are often on our trips. It’s very simple - hit your target and you will be on the plane! Additionally, you will receive a gym membership, company pension and healthcare plan.
