We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial and Catering divisions, this is a perfect role for someone looking to take their first steps into a career in Recruitment. The role of a recruiter is very diverse and this role will encapsulate a number of key areas: Branch Administration Support: You will provide administration support to the Branch Manager and other Consultants, this will give you the opportunity to train on all Temporary divisions, and building up your knowledge so that you can take responsibility for the Temporary desks (Industrial and Catering) in the absence of the Branch Manager and the Senior Consultant . You will learn the essential first steps of interviewing new candidates and undertaking new registrations, gaining references by speaking to clients and employers /HR office on the telephone and undertaking data entry for payroll, and collating and validating weekly payroll lists for our Head Office. In addition to this you will also learn how to search on various job boards to match quality CV’s to Temporary Jobs and Permanent vacancies , you will take responsibility for adding and removing job adverts from job boards and creating posters for the A-Board adverts Payroll You will be speaking to our clients to ensure all time sheets are received in good time and authorised in order to meet payroll time targets. You will monitor and track our temp spreadsheets in order to prepare temp time sheets, update weekly spread sheets, and ensuring weekly AWR reports are accurate. Client bookings: One of the key tasks of a temporary’s controller is your ability to co-ordinate client bookings and quickly identify potential temporaries to support these needs, you will received coaching for this but your listening skills will be essential as you gain a clear understanding of the client’s needs and timelines and relay this information to the Manager or Senior Consultants Key Skills Recruiters need to demonstrate good listening skills, be confident speaking on the telephone, enjoy the sales process and be motivated by the opportunity to earn commission. You need to be very organised, self-motivated and a real team player, and alongside this you need great PC skills using Microsoft-Outlook, Excel, Word, as we use a CRM. As this is working within the Industrial / Catering Divisions it would be useful if you have gained experience within a catering or hospitality environment and or within a manufacturing or factory, however we are keen to speak to anyone who feels that this a perfect role for them
