As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for generating relationships and building business with local schools that require supply teaching cover. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Liverpool city centre office, right in the heart of Liverpool One. We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant who is eager to learn on the job and hone their skills. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for generating business by cold-calling schools and selling our services - our fantastic bank of teachers and teaching assistants, as well as the vast array of perks and benefits we offer our clients. This isn't your typical 9-5 - you're not going to be sat at your desk all day; at Connex we believe in visiting schools to generate business as often as possible so you'll find yourselves out and about every week. You must have access to your own car for this - but don't worry, we've got the petrol bill! Most agencies will ask you to work long hours week-in, week-out - not us. We let you work shifts - so if you start early, you leave early, and if you have a lie in and start late? well, you'll need to leave a bit later too! We don't believe in stuffy, corporate environments: we have a casual dress code (wearing a suit isn't going to help you make better sales calls!) and run weekly in-house competitions where you can win everything from pizza and beers to extra days annual leave.
