About the job
Your job as a Recruitment Consultant are to use sales, marketing techniques, networking and business development techniques to attract business from companies. You must develop a good understanding of companies and their business is key, in order to build better stronger relationships with companies. As well as this, you'll be attracting candidates by using a wide range of media and drafting advertising copy for use on social media /networks, attending events, recruiting and through referrals. Once you have found suitable candidates, you will screen and interview candidates, conducting background checks, and matching candidates to jobs. Naturally, with the role, it is a consultative job and you will need to advise both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and on job opportunities.
You'll be working on an established market focusing within the Pharmaceutical sector, specialising on Medical Communications which means you'll be working with candidates and clients who provide consultancy services to the Pharma industry to help raise awareness of new medicines via education and promotion. This market is extremely lucrative client wise and there is a lot of opportunities to forge solid, long last relationships that will develop repeat business.
* Previous experience of successfully managing accounts, developing new business within accounts and securing new clients is essential.
* A successful track record of delivering and exceeding against set financial targets.
* A collaborative approach to cross selling and working as part of a team is essential.
* Experience within a marketing background sector would be advantageous.
What skills are needed for the job?
To be successful in your job as a Recruitment Consultant, you will need to have worked in an environment where you have had to meet sales targets as a minimum. We are open to all kinds of sales but those with telesales experience are going to be advantageous. It does not matter if you don't have a degree, providing that you have a proven experience in that environment.
Salary and benefits
We pay a basic salary depending on experience between £20,000 and £25,000 as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. This rises with each promotion and you will be set a target from day 1 to work towards. You'll have targets to achieve to incentivise you to achieve these targets such as lunch club where you'll be taken out to lunch for the afternoon with your Manager and others in your team to congratulate the work you're doing. We also have quarterly and yearly incentives where our highest performers are taken away on holiday to places like Las Vegas, Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin.
