Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Southampton Salary and Package: £15,000 - £18,000 + Uncapped Commission Structure About the company: ITs Engineering are part of the ITs Construction group of companies with over 40 years' experience within the recruitment sector and now 20 offices in major cities across the UK, we are a well-established and successful recruitment agency. We pride ourselves in our local knowledge of both candidates and clients, whilst offering a bespoke tailored service. With two local Director's present in Southampton, we operate with hands on management training and all uphold a reputable group ethos. Due to our local success and growth plans, we are now looking for a trainee consultant to join and be an integral member of our expanding engineering recruitment team. The job role and the desk: The role will involve being part of a busy, fast paced sales team, establishing new relationships and maintaining existing relationships with a mix of blue chip and SME clients across the UK. The role is to attract business from clients as well as sourcing candidates for any company with an engineering capacity to it. This role is equally rewarding as it is challenging and would suit someone looking to dramatically improve not only their career prospects but also their financial capabilities. Essential Qualifications/ Experience required: The position is suited to someone motivated, hardworking and confident, who is looking to start a lucrative career. Previous sales experience is desirable, this could include telesales, claims handling, recruitment or any other manner of sales based experience involving telephone work. Any candidate with the right attitude and aptitude regardless of experience will be considered. Expected duties: Learn and develop a good understanding of clients and how the engineering recruitment industry works. Learn and develop a good understanding of candidates, their roles and responsibilities. Liaising with clients via telephone to discuss and fully understand their requirements. Registering candidates, conducting interviews, arranging interviews. Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts Using the UK's leading job boards and social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships.
