Due to company expansion and the creation of emerging teams, we are currently seeking individuals looking to pursue a fast-paced career with great opportunities to progress and earn uncapped commission within all 4 of our bases – Bristol (Clifton and Portishead), Truro and London (Paddington). The Role: As an organic company, we firmly believe in recruiting only at trainee level therefore no prior recruitment experience is necessary or needed. We have our very own market-leading in-house Business Performance Academy which provides comprehensive training from Day One right up to Exec-level in the form of ‘on-the-job’ coaching, networking evenings as well as classroom based courses. Initially you will be assigned a mentor who will be able to provide one-on-one support and guidance whilst you train – this is a great chance to learn from one of the companies top billers. As much of the training is ‘on-the-job’ you have the potential to earn commission from Day One. As a trainee, your day to day schedule will include: • Developing relationships with new clients as well as managing accounts with existing ones. • Qualifying leads. • Sourcing candidates. • Negotiating fees. • Closing deals! With a strong belief that our success lies entirely with our people, we reward performance with promotion and have a structured, target-based progression system which allows achieving individuals to fast-track their career. Most individuals reach management level within 18-24months in the business with top consultants achieving this usually within 14-18months. Due to the organic set up of the company, there is no glass ceiling to hit – as long as you are working hard and performing, we are keen to train you to reach the next level. Realistically you will earn between £25-30k in your first 12 months with us – this will also include a £3k rise to your basic salary as you’re promoted from a trainee to a consultant. Within 18 months here, you should be on target to earn £40k+ and within four years, you will be earning in excess of £80k+. Many top consultants in the company earn a six figure salary however there is no limit on your earnings and we have a number of consultants who have earned over £45K in their first year at SmithCorp – what you put in here is what you will get out. Added extras: Consultants who consistently hit targets can expect invites to three all-inclusive 5* holidays a year – Las Vegas, Portugal and a ski trip as well as Monthly Lunch Clubs. New trainees are often on our trips. It’s very simple - hit your target and you will be on the plane! Additionally, you will receive a gym membership, company pension and healthcare plan as well as regular team and company nights/meals out. We reward longevity with Rolex targets. Many of our trainees have come from hospitality, sales, retail, the Forces and very often, straight from university. We recruit 99% on your personal attributes. We are looking for individuals with: • A strong desire to succeed, make money and progress • Confidence and self-belief • A good work ethic • Excellent communication skills • A competitive streak • B2B/promotions/sales experience (not essential but huge advantage!) You must be bright, career-driven and hardworking with a natural ability to build rapport and a genuine desire to work in a sales-based role.
