Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Truro OTE YR1 £25-30K, YR2 £35-40K, YR3 £60K+, YR4 £80K+ Many individuals look towards a career in recruitment for the meritocratic nature of the industry – the more you put in, the more money you’ll earn and the faster you’ll progress. Recruitment is a business-to-business sales role centred on creating relationships with clients and candidates. As an organic business, each of our employees – even at Exec-level – started their careers in recruitment, at the bottom, as trainees and worked their way up here. If you’re a natural at building rapport, are bright and personable, this could be you - we can train you to pick up on buying signals, negotiate rates and close deals, you just have to put the work in. As a trainee recruitment consultant, you will initially benefit from a Mentoring Programme with one of the companies top billers enabling you to be the best by learning from the best. Alongside classroom based training within our Business Performance Academy, they will provide 121 on-the-job training to ensure you hit the ground running. Your training in a serious investment for us in terms of both time and money – if we take you on as a trainee, we want you to succeed. Training will continue throughout your career here in a similar format, right up to Director-level, in order to continue your progression through the business. We believe our training is industry-leading, not because we’re biased but because our results speak for themselves – we’ve built a business consisting of 4 office bases (Bristol, London, Truro, Portishead), 6 brands with a £32million+ turnover in just 12 years by only hiring trainees. The progression here is simple and target-based allowing you to move up quickly through the business based on your performance rather than time served. As an ambitious company, we are looking to grow further and we are looking for trainees to head up our future offices, companies and Exec-teams – the faster you succeed, the faster we grow. What would my career look like? 1st Year – You should hit at least two promotions and undergo a minimum of three training courses including a mentorship with one of the top billers here. There is no probation period and you have the ability to earn commission from day 1. Within your first 12 months, you should be set to earn between £25-30k with your basic salary guaranteed to rise by a minimum of £3k however hardworking consultants have earned over £45k. 2nd Year - You should be set to achieve a senior consultant promotion and on track to become a manager with your basic increasing by as much as £7k. Realistically you should be set to earn between £35-40k however, again, hard-working consultants have earned in excess of £55k in this year. 3rd Year – You should be managing a team of between 3 – 5 consultants with your mind set on growing your team further. Realistically you should be set to earn between £50-60k however, again, the reward for those who go above and beyond expectations can expect to earn much higher. 4th Year- You should be leading an established team of between 5 – 10 consultants and earning anywhere between £80 – 100k and progressing towards Associate Director level. Consultants who consistently hit targets can expect invites to three all-inclusive 5* holidays a year – Las Vegas, Portugal and a ski trip as well as Monthly Lunch Clubs. New trainees are often on our trips. It’s very simple - hit your target and you will be on the plane! Additionally, you will receive a gym membership, company pension and healthcare plan. We reward longevity with Rolex targets. What are we looking for? Most of our employees come from hospitality, retail or even Forces backgrounds. As we don’t take on individuals with recruitment experience, we’re looking for the right traits and personality.
