Alexander Tredwell / Wax Selection is currently recruiting for a Trainee / Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join on a permanent basis during an exciting period of growth. The position is open to applicants who are experienced Consultants, Trainee Consultants or experienced Researchers looking to develop and manage their own desk. Company training will be provided and will be tailored to the successful applicant’s level of experience. Preferred Requirements: • Sales experience or sales related experience is essential • Ability to work as part of a fast paced team • Proven track record of successfully achieving targets and objectives • Articulate, confident and well presented • Can demonstrate resilience, a drive for results, and is passionate about working in recruitment Job Description Sales Activities • To generate new business – Make sales calls and carry out appropriate marketing activities to obtain vacancies and then fill these positions. • Meet all sales targets as set out by the Company. • Deal with incoming calls and aftercare. • Client visits - identify and follow up business leads (as appropriate and when required). • Write proposal documents and tenders, negotiate fees and rates in line with Company policy and comply with approvals and discounts allowed and Issue Terms of Business. • Managing CRM database. • Reporting on Key KPI’s • Support Executive Search consultants as appropriate with vacancies / projects. • Undertake specific projects as part of Objectives / PDP or otherwise required by the company. • Developing and extensive professional network. Client Management • Full understanding of each client organisation, culture, employees etc. • Serve clients by identifying their needs and providing feedback reports to them on success and progress of filling vacancies • Qualify job specification / salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job description – check info / client requirements in line with key processes and legislation • Network internally and externally with clients • Benchmark for clients – salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity Candidate Management • Candidate control – keep in regular contact to review progress and performance • Pre-screen candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct interviews • Coach candidates on interview skills / Skills testing • Spec CVs / Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in line with job order request, Ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests • Provide information to candidates on clients and job specifications for jobs Other • Administration duties including; Reporting, verification of qualifications, Formatting of CV’s, Maintaining Online Profile and any other administrative duties required to perform the job. • Keep Company CRM System updated daily with client and candidate information as well as all call activity. • Ownership of PDP. • Ensure records are kept in line with legislative requirements. • Carry out work instructions in line with Company Systems and Processes. • Any other duties as required by the Company Package Details: Salary: Competitive base (DOE) : OTE up to £50,000 uncapped Commission: 15% (no threshold) No dress code 5* holiday incentives Healthcare: Private Individual Pension: Contributory Pension Plan Other: Company laptop, Company phone, ongoing personal development, parking permit
