Volunteer Recruitment Co-Ordinator  Carer Support Wiltshire aims to ensure that unpaid carers in Wiltshire are supported. We do this by providing support directly to carers, and by raising the profile of carers and their needs with health and social care professionals, employers, and the public.  Position: Volunteer Recruitment Co-Ordinator  Location: Flexible either Semington Carers Centre or Salisbury Carers Centre with occasional travel  Job Type: Part Time, Permanent  Hours: 14 hours per week  Salary: £21,962 to £24,174 pro rata  Closing Date: 4 pm on Tuesday 10th April 2018.  Interview date: Wednesday 18th April 2018.  About the role:  As the Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for developing a diverse range of creative and innovative volunteering opportunities at Carer Support Wiltshire.  Responsibilities:  - Lead on all aspects of volunteer recruitment  - Ensure all necessary checks are carried out including the taking up of references and Disclosure and Barring Service checks, where necessary  - Recruitment of a diverse group of fully supported volunteers, including former carers, which reflects the wider community  - Recruit forty new volunteers each year  - Develop a wide range of volunteering opportunities that enhance volunteers’ existing skills or enable them to develop new skills  - Maintain accurate records, monitoring and evaluation information including using CSW database Charitylog to enhance project planning and development  - Provide reports on volunteer recruitment  - Support Carer Support Wiltshire Volunteer Manager  - A flexible approach is required for this role and you may be asked to undertake other duties from time to time  About you:  - Good standard of education  - Further qualifications in health and social care is desirable  - Experience recruiting volunteers  - Previous experience delivering presentations  - Understanding of different pathways in volunteering  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills  - Able to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. e.g. businesses, colleges and voluntary organisations  - Able to use IT and databases to: manage time, record information and run reports  - Able to work flexibly in terms of location and occasional evening and weekend work  - Car driver and owner  You may have experience of the following: Volunteer Coordinator, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Trainer, Volunteering, Recruitment Officer, Volunteer Coordinator, Voluntary Sector, Recruitment Coordinator, Recruitment, Volunteer Recruitment, etc.  This vacancy is being advertised by EasyWeb Recruitment, the UK’s leading Online Recruitment Agency.
