£38,000 per annum Full Time - (Monday - Friday) Permanent Location: 175 St John Street, Farringdon, London, EC1V 4LW Background: Place2Be has a requirement to recruit circa 1200 student placements (or qualified adult counsellors) who wish to gain experience of delivering 1:1 clinical services, to children and young people in Place2Be partner schools, across England, Scotland and Wales. In order to qualify as a clinician to work with CYPS and the need to gain clinical hours; Place2Be provides those on placement with the opportunity to have same day supervision from a qualified clinician, access to professional training delivered by highly experienced trainers and gain valuable experience working in a whole school setting. Overall Job Purpose: As the Resourcing and Attraction Manager, you will lead an experienced and motivated Clinical Placement Co-ordinator team and work with clinical management, to successfully engage and support our clinicians on placement, who come from colleges/universities and other providers to deliver school partnership clinical services during their training or who may already be adult trained but wish to gain experience of working with children and young people. The post holder will be responsible for developing a range of tools and attraction strategies to recruit, attract and engage circa 1200 placements each year. Working with senior managers who are accountable for delivering quality school-based services across England, Scotland and Wales, you will ensure accurate information is available on number of placements required for each school in a defined geographical area. What will I be doing in my new role: * You will focus attraction and engagement on our hard-to-fill areas, with an aim to meeting clinical placement requirements. * You’ll manage high value college/university relationships personally and/or work with clinical colleagues to ensure strong relationships are developed and maintained with Course Leaders and Tutors. * You will be responsible for establishing a suite of KPIs for the team - time it takes for clinical applicants to be interviewed, time to go through clearance, time from being offered a placement to starting in a school. * You will review current Strategic Attraction and Engagement Plan and update where necessary; continue to develop in conjunction with the requirements of clinical managers. * You will work with management to ensure they are regularly updating information on when placements start at a school and when the leave. Without this we are unable to produce up-to-date and accurate recruitment information on retention. * You will analyse and produce data on who is applying for clinical placements (route into Place2Be), whether they are shortlisted, interviewed and progress in our pipeline. * You will be responsible for reviewing the existing interview assessment process, alongside clinical colleagues, to ensure we are taking applicants through a robust application & assessment process. As the successful candidate you will have: * A proven track record of successfully implementing large scale Graduate attraction/volunteer programmes and engagement schemes in a medium to large scale company * Strong background / experience attracting students or graduate professionals, consistently meeting targets and over delivering * Experience of collaboratively working with and engaging senior level operational managers to deliver graduate or volunteer recruitment needs * Experienced - Line management of a recruitment team, ideally for graduate or charity volunteers * Understanding of relevant employment law and associated Codes of Practice (Data Protection Act) * A strategic thinker, able to deal with operational issues, opportunities and obstacles/hurdles * Previous experience of recruiting and attracting clinical applicants (is desirable) In return we offer a range of fantastic benefits including: * Enhanced Annual Leave entitlement * Robust Learning and Development Programme * Contributory Pension Scheme up to 8% * Life Assurance 4 x Annual Salary * Employee Assistance Programme * Cycle purchase and season ticket loan schemes * Extended maternity/paternity pay * Mobile Phone Discount A supportive organisation we offer strong and clear leadership as well as a fantastic working environment to ensure your early success.
