Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust – Weekend Membership Recruiter (£10 Per Hour + Commission). Could you use your passion, skills and experience to encourage people to support Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (‘GWT’) and its fantastic conservation work by becoming a member? GWT is the biggest local wildlife charity in the county looking after an impressive 65+ beautiful nature reserves in the county of Gloucestershire and needs more members to enable it to protect even more threatened local wildlife, due to the fact that 6 out 10 UK species are under threat. Due the success of the team and how busy we are in the summer with shows and events, we’re looking for several new Membership Recruiters to work weekends, this has been proven to be the best time to reach out to potential new members. This is a permanent, fully employed role and you would be joining a successful long standing team. Our Membership Recruiters love talking to the public, inspiring them to support the work of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust by becoming a member. We work a variety of pre-booked venues from events, shows, garden centres, etc. Using our own informative display equipment to engage with members of the public. Absolutely no street fundraising or cash collecting in this role. There is a basic hourly rate and a commission element. We also offer 40p per mile travel expenses and a pension scheme. You will receive an excellent training programme along with ongoing support. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility in their working life, a desire to ‘put something back’ into the community, strong earning potential – basic plus commission – with a variety of working environments with job satisfaction built in.
