Job Description

Our clients are servicing the construction industry working at all levels within the production, commercial and technical delivery sectors. We are lucky enough to have excellent working relationships and many live roles at any one time. We are looking for someone with previous experience in building working relationships with clients to determine the types of candidates they are looking for and a proven track record in placing candidates across a broad spectrum of roles including Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Project and Site Managers, Construction Managers, Health & Safety and Graduate placements. The Role To develop and manage the resourcing for the white-collar construction team of consultants. Provide proactive and creative recruitment solutions to overcome recruitment difficulties. Keep all records up to date and always have the lines of communication open between the client and the candidate. You will be responsible For • Strengthening our database of professional candidates suitable to the live roles we have with our clients and making sure all the details for the roles and candidate submission spreadsheet is kept fully up to date. • Ensuring you obtain right to work from all candidates before placing in a position. • Placing/managing adverts on a number of different sites on a daily basis. • Liaising with the appropriate staff involved both internally and externally to enable the smooth running of all contracts. • Dealing with all problems and complaints swiftly, where unable to do so passing them to the relevant Consultant or Manager. • Managing all roles effectively and sharing your time equally against live roles • Entering candidates details onto the database from ad responses taken over the phone. • Reviewing all current processes, identifying ways to improve the service and time taken to recruit. The Candidate * Will ideally have recruitment experience and a background in placing professional candidates. * Will have previous experience in administration and the maintenance of a live database and spreadsheet management * Good computer skills with knowledge particularly of Excel and a demonstrable vocabulary both written and verbal when liasing with professional clients and candidates * Excellent telephone manner demonstrating patience and understanding of both client and candidate needs * You will be responsible for looking after the demands of a very busy, target driven sales team. As a team member you will be enthusiastic, highly motivated with a desire to be successful and grow existing client relationships. Flexibility to work varied hours needed to do the job and ability to work individually and with guidance from senior members of the team.
